Inadequacy,i now understand why it is spread everywhere,
Like how the serpent slithers,
Searching for sin-pills to fill the good bottle,
Point where the problem began,
As in my drunken state...
As the sun blinked away
As in my dreaded fate...
As the wind tuned in sway
Slithering serpent hissed next to my ear,
It told me that this ground belongs to him,
I wasn't allowed to slumber on the grass,
That i had only six minutes to arise and leave,
I struggled to open my eyes only to watch him meander along the green,
Seeing the rodents scurry and insects hide as he vanished into the tame wild.
Look up in alert mode...
Look beyond the blue
Look up into failure abode...
Look beyond precipitating dew
Singing bird proudly swerves in peaceful tunes,
My eyes zoom in to it's body structure,
I begin to wonder how such a small bird can fly and eat and live so happily,
Why it goes round and round above me as if expecting me to fear it,
Then i notice it's watching a worm next to my shaky right arm,
In that realisation i pretend to be asleep and dead,
In seconds, worm gone so is the bird.
Six minutes gone,i find myself at home,
No wife no children.
I drop my lazy body on my arm chair,
Clarity slowly returning,i never noticed the color of the snake nor the bird.
This is a graphical world how will i explain this to my family when they return from worship?
I wait,wait and wait.
Six hours later,the door opens
The snake and bird enter.
So does my drunken and observant imagination.
