Standing staring searching,
Self questioning,"Is it coming?"
Stunning natural flickers,
Explosive sounds that could not let me discern.
Feeling the cold wind,
Brush my skin,
Flabber my eye-lashes,
Indirectly call on my jumper.
I felt the first drizzle drop,
Onto my coconut cells,
It tasted new and inviting,
Cloth tracing my jacket.
I gave it little thought,
Water seldom skelters me,
I'm neither salt nor sugar,
So shelter I hardly seek.
The heavens opened up,
It dove down like never before,
Thousands of faces read fear,
I knew the clouds were sad about it.
On and on torrents soaked,
The soil then grass,
Washed away the rose beds,
Eroded the stained stones.
Meekly stood lost at the centre,
Absorbing each icy drop,
Hail almost made me cover,
I loved it more for a while.
Suddenly the gauge was knee high,
I felt strange and knew it was no good sign,
So I sat on the road just to feel the flow strength.
It was weak but ascending faster than descending days.
I leaned back and fell into the flood,
Gulped the filthy fresh water,
If this is heaven's blood then baptise me,
Sink me into redemption river in the mid-death city,
Restore life and zeal thus be a better conservasionist.
Pull me up,flag me onto the highest cloud,
Watch me fall tomorrow as the prodigal rains,
Forgotten blessings cast into the thorns of destruction,
Spectate as I bring a new life and light to those who drink I.
